2016-17 Schedule

A message from Lindsay:

“Hi guys! My name is Lindsay Kung and I am your tutoring committee head for the year of 2016-2017. This is my second year being a part of United Sciences, and it has been a great experience so far! As the leader of United Sciences Tutoring Committee, I am determined to deliver assistance to the best of my ability to those in need of extra help in their science classes here at Keppel. The Tutoring Committee offers tutoring jobs to any member of the club and is not limited to only a select number of people. With this in mind, if you are the type of person who finds enjoyment in helping others and sharing your awesome knowledge of science with them, you can lend that extra hand as a tutor in Tutoring Committee! Anybody is welcome to become a tutor at anytime you choose. We are a very flexible committee and open to new ideas and suggestions to help each other out, as we are all in this together. 🙂 Even if you don’t think you are a science expert, that’s okay! There’s no need to hesitate and come and join or ask me about any questions you have about the committee.Oh, and one other thing; you can not only be a tutor, but you can also be tutored as well! We have tutoring sessions on certain days of the week that correspond to a specific subject, such as Biology in Ms. Hake’s (B116) on Mondays and Chemistry in Mrs. Schalmz on Wednesdays. These are perfect opportunities to come and get help especially when finals week is close or a big test is around the corner. And the best part of being a tutor/tutee? EXTRA CREDIT Y’ALL. And easy hours too! 🙂 You’re not only helping others, but you’re also rewarding yourself with a little something in return! (wink wink) So if you need that extra help or want to offer your assistance, come to me and let me know how you want to get involved! I am thrilled to work with you guys this year and can’t wait to make it an awesome one.”
